According to Velonews the missing bikes from Astana have been recovered. What Velonews did not report is that other teams were robbed and that each bike received a NoCal “upgrade” from a local cycling club. Here is how the recovered bikes look now:

The bikes from Astana and Lance’s custom TT bike were not overhauled due to the unknown, NASA developed carbon blend they were fabricated from. Instead, each bike received a 24 carat gold spare wheel.
