Right on schedule
In a tweet yesterday from evilbanks, he reminded me that Leadville is only 25 days away, and needless to say I got a little nervous. I have been away on vacation/work for 5 of the past 7 weeks.
While driving down to St. George last night (for work), I tried to remember how much I actually trained last year. It seemed this year I haven’t had as many rides(as compared to 08), but the ones I have had this year were slightly longer. I just did an analysis of my riding/training data this year vs. last year and found something interesting. I have had fewer rides this year, but I am actually 16 minutes of training/riding time ahead of where I was last year at this same time. This was super-nerdy but made me feel a little better about what is awaiting me in a few SHORT weeks.

16 minutes? How do you even know that? I couldn’t tell you the duration of my last ride within 16 minutes, let alone the entire season. Or last season. And I thought I got beat pretty good with the geek stick. You win.

Glad to know you are on schedule, because anything we all do now probably won’t help anyway.

You gotta train for this thing? Somebody told me its all mental. I’ve been spending all my times meditating.
