A thing of beauty
Few men actually inspire others with their Christmas light display. This year the VH1blogs staff of Elves have been out spying on their loyal readers and came upon these 2 things of beauty (yes both are readers. Hint: One is a STRONGMAN that inflicts pain on me whenever we ride! The other wears white loafers like Uncle Eddie and loves skin flicks! ). I admire both xmas light displays equally. Why you ask? I figure it is all in the eyes of the beholder. I realize the 1st set of lights represents an insanely fast Leadville time (something I lust for). The second shows pure PANACHE (Also an admirable trait)! Gentlemen for your Christmas spirit I salute you!!!

I saw display #2 the other day. I was so excited to have Clark Griswold as a neighbor. Can’t wait to show my kids. Do us all a favor and leave it up until at least Valentine’s day.

couple years ago, i didn’t feel like putting up lights, but a week before christmas holden got mad and demanded some lights. i got out a long light string, wrapped it around a tree on the front hill, and laid it along the ground to the outlet on the house.
holden loved it.

Once again a perfect example. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
