Draper Cross Course 10-08

I know the weather has been nice this year for cross, but after seeing the cross pictures in http://www.velonews.com, the chance for riding in slop still alarms me.

on the map of draper it appears you go off course and through the neighbors yard instead of staying on the gravel road, was this a mistake by the gps? also how much climbing in elevation and distance is it from the bottom of the road to the top?
